Corn Bread

Once I brought corn bread to the masjid and they had no idea what to do with it...

LOL! I was eating pancakes once at the Masjid and some lady came up to me and asked what "those round flat things" taste like. I was all :O

hahahaha fantastic!!!

my bff is half American and half Palistinian. She does NOT like middle eastern food and everyone is like WAH? They can't understand she grew up eating southern food and Italian because of her mom's family.
"But she's Palistinian... she must love middle eastern food!"

And then everyone is so surprised when I cook kabsa and lentils... One sister even asked me if Americans eat rice!?!?! HAHAHAHa

LOl I tried to give my friends stuffed peppers once and they were very confused. Its quite humorous when you bring out stuff no one is use to :)
